Week 39

Hi Families, This week we celebrated National Indigenous Peoples Day by going out on the land and giving thanks for what's around us. We drew close up, foregrounds, and backgrounds, and learned about the Stampede Grounds. In math we learned about fractions, and measurement. We went and flew the paper airplanes that we worked on this week and measured to see how far they flew to compare. We also went and learned some drama games from our grade 5 buddies. In literacy we worked on creating clues about an animal to have people guess what animal it is. We also made powerpoint slides to help reveal them. Next week is our last week, and we have lots of fun activities to do. We will be attending our grade 6s good bye assembly and we have activity day as well. There is a Fit Set Ninja Form that needs to be signed and returned if you want your ninja to participate.  Have a great weekend!
